台大杜鵑花節
每年的三月，台大校園裡的杜鵑花從羅斯福路校門口沿著椰林大道一路繽紛綻放。校方為了協助有心想要進入台大求學的青年學子及望子成龍的家長們，一窺這學術殿堂的堂奧，並拉近校園與社區民眾的距離，特別在杜鵑盛開的季節裡，舉辦一年一度的「臺大杜鵑花節」。
杜鵑花節系列活動於一九九七年開始舉辦，在杜鵑花節裡，活動內容除了學系博覽會，還有學生社團成果展、台大校園導覽、博物館群導覽，更有系列藝文活動與學生表演可供欣賞參觀。
學系博覽會
學系博覽會為杜鵑花節之重頭戲。台大各系在花費心思布置的攤位，擺上最能代表本系特色文宣或展品，為往來的訪客介紹。常常見到各系學生在學系博覽會展場出入口，發放傳單。或者是在會場走動，沿途發放。有些系還會有人偶繞場。有時各系攤位會舉辦有獎徵答活動，或者是表演活動。
而學系博覽會更是高中生與家長們認識台大特色以及 提供未來選系參考的最佳機會，如果你對大學各系所學一無所知，或是對選系感到無所適從，不知道自己到底想要走上什麼樣的道路，你可以到各系攤位詢問，攤位 上許多熱情的學長姊將會願意為你介紹各系特色，更願意以自身經驗與你分享，協助你找到自己興趣所在。
化學系攤位
今年化學系攤位設計了許多多彩多姿、既有趣又有深度的活動，包含了趣味化學闖關遊戲、現場示範實驗表演、特色小專題解說，如果你願意參與攤位活動，還可得到可愛又精美的化學紀念品喔！進階活動內容介紹請點選花節現場的內容即能有進一步內容瞭解喔！
如果你對化學有興趣的話，你可以到攤位上詢問學長姊，攤位上熱情的學長姊將會為你介紹化學系特色，還有化學各相關學系所學的優缺點比較，藉此你可以在攤位上了解進入化學系之後會學習到的相關知識與能技，化學系未來出路以及當前化學領域的發展狀況。
如果你是即將在4月初參加化學系甄選入學考試的同學，那就更要把握機會了！攤位現場會有歷屆學長姊的甄選備審資料可供參考，當然最重要的還有珍貴的學長姊應試經驗分享囉！不論是當天考試流程或是筆試面試注意事項與技巧，藉由學長姊的經驗分享，相信你一定能在考試當天做好最萬全的準備的！
最後特別宣傳一下！如果你是真的對化學非常有興趣，甚至早就打定主意非化學系不讀的話，在學系博覽會這兩天(3月5,6日)我們將會有系館參訪的活動，每日現定場次也限定人數，活動內容除了化學系館、化學系圖書館、化學系系史館參訪外，我們還安排了貴重儀器室的參觀，更邀請了系上教授，讓你有機會與教授面對面對談交流，如果你有任何想了解的事，或是想詢問教授的事，這將會是個絕佳的機會！
